From September 20th to 25th: International Boat Show and GenovaInBlue

International Boat Show

What is it: This event aims to promote the image of Genoa in the world. Visitors can experience the passion for the sea and water sports testing the boats and participating in many special activities. More than 1,000 boats are on show as well the latest products of the national and international nautical industry.

Price: full ticket – 15€, reduced ticket – 13€ (disabled visitors, groups of at least 30 people who register for group entry)

GenovaInBlue

What is it: cultural manifestation in wich Genoa’s neighbourhoods and high streets host several events throughout the month of September. Throughout the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd the shops in the city centre will be offering exciting initiatives for guests and visitors of the International Boat Show with longer opening hours and events.

September 22th: Piano No stop 2018 – 18H

What is it: Last stop of a series of piano concerts happening throughout Genoa. A mechanical piano, equipped with wheels and engine, driven by an eighteenth-century pianist / pilot parades accompanied by an ethereal dancer who dances on toes, using the piano sound box as a stage.

September 22th: open day natural history museum

What is it: the museum of natural history opens its doors for an afternoon in september with several games and activities suited for all ages with themes like creative Robotics, the puppets divulge science and the opening of the exobition Handhumans vs Handanimals (17h) will also take place.

All month: Van Gogh Alive – The Experience

What is it: multimedia exhibition that allows you to relive the immortal Van Goghs’ masterpieces thanks to over 3000 high resolution pictures, projected with a powerful multimedia technlology, which allows the audience to admire even the most subtle details. Open all days (monday to thursday _ 10-20h; friday/saturday _10-23h; sunday_10-21h)
